When Print Machine founder Jonny Jacques was unable to find a screen printer willing to offer the help and advice he needed, he learned how to pull screens himself. That was more than a decade ago.

He started by buying a screen press and setting it up in his parents’ basement. It was a learning process, but eventually through hard work and a number of detours, that early experience birthed Gateway Screen & Press.

In the summer of 2013, Gateway split into two entities and two separate locations: Gateway Screen & Press transformed into Edmonton’s premier product and apparel decoration facility which supports a production and distribution network as well as handles the corporation’s administration as a whole. Our second location is Print Machine and was created as the business’s Whyte Avenue storefront and retail brand. Print Machine offers quick printing of short run apparel and promotional products, as well as longer runs on any item you could think of. That’s how things stand today.

Our company was founded on the idea that a print shop should be helpful, honest, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure clients receive products they’re proud of. As we have grown into a business with two locations, sixteen hard-working employees, hundreds of satisfied customers in the arts, business, education and government sectors, the focus has remained on service, quality and workmanship. Print Machine stands behind its motto: You think it, we ink it.
